Julia Evans

Julia first started programming on a TI-83 calculator in high school and is forever grateful for better programming languages. She then moved on to languages with exciting features like functions and named variables, and now writes mostly PHP and Javascript.

She graduated from McGill University with an M.Sc in Computer Science, where she studied topological quantum computing. Now she makes Drupal sites on non-quantum computers. When she's not learning more about Drupal and architecting software, she likes cooking, playing board games, and mangos.

Julia has presented at Drupal Camp New York.
