DrupalCamp is just around the corner

This year is going to be my first DrupalCamp ever, and I have to say it's been amazing to watch the community pull together to make this happen! Last year, Koumbit took the initiative of introducing Montreal's first DrupalCamp, an open-space event embraced by 60 drupalers. This year, a larger planning team is preparing to put on a bigger camp!

With a week-and-a-half to go, over 100 Drupal enthusiasts have pre-registered, 27 sessions have been proposed, and 12 sponsors have stepped up to offer close to $8000 of value! We have 150 t-shirts, 300 meals, 15 books, and 16 dozen Montreal bagels on their way for the big weekend.

The best part of it all is seeing the way older members of the community welcome the newcomers. Drupal's strength is in its spirit of collaboration, inviting everyone to contribute in the way that they are best able to.
