Advanced Search with Apache Solr

In 2009, we began work on the ApacheSolr Ajax module, a library that provides an Ajax UI for the Solr search interface, and offers more flexibility in terms of creating custom search widgets. We’ve invested research and development time to develop techniques to improve Solr’s responsiveness when used with Drupal. The ApacheSolr Module was mentioned in Packt Publishing’s book about Solr.

We have experience deploying Solr in various hosting environments, and configuring those servers to ensure that security standards are met.

After presenting on ApacheSolr at DrupalCon San Francisco, one of our developers became a co-maintainer of the ApacheSolr module, and our development team contributed to upgrading the module to Drupal 7. We’ve presented on ApacheSolr architecture and user interface design at a variety of Drupal camps, and our blog posts on the subject have been cited in subsequent talks and blog posts in the Drupal community.
